Prompt # 7

*If you could meet anyone - past or present - who would it be and why?*

If I had to choose one person to meet, it would be Martin Luther King Jr.  I would want to meet him to ask him if he was ever scared during the Freedom Rights Movement.  I would want to know what all was going through his head and if he ever thought that there would be a holiday in remembrance of him?  I think it would be cool to meet him because he had made such a huge difference in the ways that colored people are treated now and the rights that they have.  Because of him a movement got started and now I can go to school with anyone and not just the colored like it was when he was alive. 

Prompt # 6

*What are you most proud of?*

I would say that I am most proud of the fact that I didn’t give up on myself.  There have been times where I wanted to just drop everything and leave everyone but I didn’t and I am glad.  I am proud of the person I am today and how I now know how to accept things that I may not like.  Also the fact that I have made this far and everyone that doubted me doesn’t know what to say to the fact that I over exceeded what they thought I was capable of.  And now they look at me in shock.

*What motivates you?*

My motivation would have to be the people that tell me I won’t be able to make it in life.  They are the reason I strive to do so good in life and be better than what people think I am.   This motivates me because without people doubting I would have something to bass my strive for. They push me to do well and they don’t even realize it. Another motivators is I want to be better than the rest of my family.  As of right now I was going to be the first one in my family to go to college and that means a lot to me.  The people that tell me I can’t make it are my family so getting accepted to college was a huge step in life.
